For this Ramadan, Mercure Penang Beach Hotel has the interesting Warna Warni Nusantara Buffet Dinner offerings for their diners by guest chef, Ayu Yusoff of Qually’s Nusantara Kitchen. Held at the Ombak Kitchen, the buffet will have diners tasting, sipping and savouring the goodness of Kak Ayu spread of Malay lauk-pauk (dishes).
There are many signature options with catchy names like Gulai Kawah Sang Perindu, Ayam Dara Kahwin, Harimau Menangis, and Udang Masak Petai Mahkota, Lamb Bombay, to pair with her signature Nasi Rancak Tumeric & Nasi Rancak Bunga Telang.
Besides that, the menu also features other dishes such as Terung Bersambal, Sotong Rempah, and Ikan Keli Berlado.
As for the choices from the “warung” action stations, you will be able to devour roasted lamb leg, bubur lambuk, murtabak, rojak, kuey teow goreng, and laksa. The BBQ grill station always has a lineup with diners waiting for items like Ikan Keli, Ayam Percik, Daging Harimau Menangis plus satay daging & ayam.
