With Christmas and New Year around the corner, Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa and Golden Sands Resort have prepared a stream of Buffet Dinner, Set Menu, and A La Carte Special to celebrate the coming festive season.
In making your festive feasting for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day memorable, do check out the F&B venues in both resorts.
Feringgi Grill one of Penang’s celebrated fine dining destinations presents a dining experience complemented by a selection of fresh ingredients. Patrons will find solace in the Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Set Dinner available on 24th & 25th December 2019 from 6.30pm till 10.30pm.
Expect to tuck into the course meal with amuse bouche, seared scallops, soup, main course with three options – salmon, turkey roulade and black angus tenderloin, besides dessert, chocolate praline and cookies. Priced at RM428nett per person, the course meal will include a glass of champagne or mocktail.
Christmas would not be complete without turkey, so there is the Feringgi Grill’s Christmas Turkey – and is priced at RM482 nett (comes with a bottle of house wine). The bird prepared with chestnut stuffing, roasted potatoes, vegetables with cranberry and giblet sauce is available from 1st till 31st December 2019. The kitchen requires a 36-hour notice when orders are made.
At Spice Market Café, both the festive Christmas Day Brunch and the Christmas Buffet Dinner is a lavish feast of traditional favorites and includes Western and Asian dishes. Expect to find roast turkey, beef Wellington, tandoori favorites, seafood, noodles, and Japanese delicacies at this cafe with indoor and breezy outdoor seating spaces. Priced at RM298 per adult and RM149 for children, the brunch and buffet dinner offer free-flowing of house wine, beer, chilled juices, soft drinks, coffee and tea.
Other dining places in Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa are the Banyan Tree Garden, FIP Lounge, and the Pinang Restaurant & Bar.
FIP Lounge offers diners its Festive Coffee and Cake Buffet on 22nd December at RM68nett per adult and children at RM34nett (2pm till 5pm). Get ready for Christmas goodies such as scones, cakes, assorted pastries, and sandwiches to go with the free-flowing cranberry-apple punch as well as coffee and tea. Children can indulge themselves with Christmas themed DIY craft and photo session with Santa.
Foodies would love to check out the Rasa Deli located in the Garden Wing. Starting from 1st December, there will be an abundance of sweet yuletide goodies such as Christmas fruit cake, assorted cookies, fruit mince pies, Yule log, and pralines. These take-home goodies are available from 11am till 6.30pm, daily.
For patrons planning to savor an a la carte dinner menu on the beach with a sunset view and live entertainment, do head over to Pinang Restaurant & Bar. Happy Hour is from 5pm till 7pm.
