Experience the flavors of Christmas at Taste Cafe in G Hotel Gurney and Spoon Cafe in G Hotel Kelawai as both hotels celebrate the festive season with buffets serving up plenty of gourmet treats for lunch and dinner.
Indulge in a menu with carefully chosen signature dishes which include the quintessential roasted turkey with apple cranberry sauce, and roasted prime beef along with a plethora of international delights and enticing sweets.
The menu brings a beautiful roasted prime beef, and roasted turkey to the carving station. The roasted turkey with comforting aromas of herb is served with apple cranberry sauce.
The roasted prime beef with a middle that is pink, is lusciously tender, and serve with three sauces – mint sauce, green pepper corn sauce, and garlic sauce. The mint sauce enhanced the flavor of the meat well.
The menu offers cold cuts, cheeses, salad, pasta, homemade antipasto and selection of sushi and sashimi. Adding to the list is seafood on ice, filled with chilled tiger prawns, mussels, and scallops.
The buffet pamper palates with a spread of cooked dishes. Food is kept warm in chafing dishes, ranging from oyster au gratin, turkey schnitzel and beef osso buco to stir-fried beef with capsicum.
The stir-fried beef with tender pieces of beef and capsicum emphasized by flavorful dark brown sauce, tasted just like a good Chinese stir-fried most of us are familiar with.
Experience the delights of succulent barbeque king prawns, slipper lobster, squid, salmon fillet and meaty options such a lamb chop, bratwurst sausages, and minute steak from the Lava stone BBQ. Balance these bbq items with salads, corn on cob, baked potatoes and grilled vegetables.
The menu is serving up various desserts and make sure you fit them in. The stars of the desserts are the classic Christmas fruit pudding, yule log cake, christstollen, gingerbread, cookies and assorted macarons.
There is also other options such as velvety tiramisu, cinnamon banana pudding, ice cream, fondue, fresh fruits, and bites of chocolates that are too pretty to eat.
G Hotel welcomes guests to enjoy the Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner and Christmas Day Buffet Dinner at both the Taste Cafe in G Hotel Gurney and Spoon Cafe in G Hotel Kelawai. The buffet priced at RM148 adult, RM74 child, senior citizen RM84, includes free flow of soft drinks & juices. You can opt to have free flowing of house beer or wine, by just adding on RM 55 per person. All prices are inclusive of GST.
