Ghee Hiang newest outlet at Burma Road

Ghee Hiang has successfully spawned its third outlet and this time around with its location in the bustling Burma Road. The facade of the shop which faces Union Primary School is adorned with a huge signboard and mischievous looking mascots.
Ghee Hiang spans a history of approximately 150 years and offers many varieties of traditional biscuits, like the famous Tau Sar Pneah (with sweetened mung bean paste), Beh Teh Saw, Hneoh Pneah, Phong Pneah and many more. They are also famed for their sesame oil, which is one of the finest quality around.
This new outlet, along with the existing Beach Street and Macalister Road outlets are well stocked up with full range of products. As the mooncake festival dawns, I too joined in the festival and bought myself a box of mooncake together with some other snacks.
