Cara Caro Cafe in Georgetown, Penang welcomes everyone to a cafe with a nice bohemian atmosphere. The cozy and relaxed cafe with natural earth tones, mainly white and beige is brightening up with a mix of colorful cushions, retro-style lamps, and lush plants.

The pork-free cafe offers hearty cafe-style Western and Oriental meals. Treat your taste buds to choices spanning from salad & soup to pasta, and mains. The Oriental sets with prices ranging from RM26 to RM28 come with one vegetable dish, a fried egg, and a hot soup of the day.

For a light choice, the cafe’s popular Half & Half Sourdough offers the crisp of toasted sourdough with cream cheese, honey, and fresh fruits of blueberries and avocado.

Its pasta dishes has many takers, with choices ranging from Butter Cream Spaghetti with Scallop, Seafood Aglio Olio (Squid Ink), Pomodoro Pasta with Chicken Meatball, and Truffle Mushroom Pasta. The latter has spaghetti, truffle, cheese, and mushroom dancing together in a light creamy white sauce, and served adorned with colorful garnishes.

For desserts, the cafe has brought on some decadent pastries and cakes. Their popular desserts are the Apple Pie, Canelé, Rum & Raisin Shortbread, Mont Blanc Tart, and Scone.
