Amari Spice Penang BBQ Bounty Buffet Dinner & Merdeka Day Buffet held at the Amaya Food Gallery could be your choice if you are looking for a HALAL meal in a hotel in Bayan Lepas area.
With its recently awarded HALAL certification, the hotel is offering the Amari Spice Penang BBQ Bounty Buffet Dinner on Friday and Saturday from 11th August 2023 till 30th September 2023. The Amari Spice Penang BBQ Bounty Buffet Dinner is priced at RM148 nett for adult, and RM98 nett for children (6 to 12 years old) & senior citizen 60 years and above. The buffet spread has a good balance between cold and warm dishes, and bbq seafood and meat.

Start off with the appetizers as well as the exhaustive choice of cold seafood specialties including Mussels, Prawns, Oysters, Spanner Crab, Mini Abalones, and Crawfish to go with a variety of sauces. There will also be a spread of assorted sushi to choose from.

There is also a salad area where you can find items like Thai Beef Salad, Coleslaw with Raisin, Hawaiian Salad, and Cold Pasta Salad. The salads will add-on many different flavors and crunch to the meal. Besides, there is a selection of cold cuts, from Mushroom Chicken Lyoner to Turkey Slices and cheeses.

Work your way up to the hot dishes and choose from options like the Fish & Chips, Sea Bass with Sweet & Sour Sauce, Boneless Chicken with BBQ Sauce, Fried Prawn with Oatmeal, Stir-Fried Flower Crab, Seafood Jambalaya, and creamy rich Seafood Chowder.
Try a bowl of seafood noodle prepared in a seafood-based soup from the noodle counter. For a little more ‘extravagant’, add-on some mini abalones, scallops, and flower crab.

The highlight of the evening will be the selection of BBQ mains which includes the Malay-style Ayam Percik (grilled chicken flavored with ginger and lemon grass), and meatier options such as the Boneless Lamb Leg, and Roasted Rib Eye. The meats are complemented by grilled vegetables (eggplant, pumpkin, corn, broccoli). Perk up the meat with mushroom sauce, or black pepper sauce.

The buffet also unveiled an array of Chef’s Kawah dishes which include specialties like Daging Tetel Asam Pedas, Sambal Udang Petai, and Escargot Masak Lemak Chili Api. The dishes are delicious with rice.
