FIP Lounge First Anniversary @Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, Penang

Fun, Interactive and Play Lounge (FIP Lounge) at the Garden Wing, lobby level of Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa, Penang celebrated its one year anniversary on 27th November 2015. The party was on free flow to celebrate this joyous occasion, with guests soaking in the relaxed atmosphere of fun and high spirits.

Standing proud in the midst of the galore of dessert is a huge “1”, a simple yet meaningful commemoration of FIP being one year old.

The culinary offerings were prepared by the resort’s executive pastry chef Dino Wan Teik Boon and his pastry team.

Variety of cakes include chocolate chiffon cake,  apple crumble cake, bite-size tarts, scones, macarons, cookies, strawberries dipped in chocolate, petit fours and cupcakes.

Drinks flowed free throughout the anniversary party, and guest were treated to a range of  cocktails, wine, beer, and coffee.

At one point everyone were heard excitedly cheering as Elaine Yue, the General Manager of Rasa Sayang Resorts launched the Domino Drop Shot at the long bar.

FIP Lounge is open from 11am till 12midnight on weekdays while on Fridays and Saturdays, the lounge will be open till 1am. Guests can chill-out with the 3-D coffee lattes, beer in solid ice mug, wine, mocktails and cocktails. The All Day offer is on from 1pm till 10pm, with cocktail priced at RM136nett per jug and mocktail at RM88nett per jug.

On every Saturday and Sunday from 3pm to 6pm, there will be the ‘Coffee and Cakes Buffet’. Priced at RM 47nett per adult and RM 24nett per child (6 to 11 years old), the buffet offers varieties of cakes, macarons, scones and cake pops with free flow of brew coffee and tea.
