Penang has not only one G Hotel but two. First is G Hotel Gurney and now is G Hotel Kelawai. The 5-star cutting-edge, lifestyle hotel opened its door to the public on February 16, 2015.
Facing the bustling Jalan Kelawai, and its side at Persiaran Maktab, the hotel is just a short buggy drive from its sister property.
G Hotel Kelawai has many rooms, with focus on comfort and design, and guests will get the feel of luxury. There are shower head by Grohe and eco-friendly Appelles toiletries in the bathroom, Herman Miller designer working chair, 55′ Smart LED TV and many more elite features.

For dining, one can venture to the three trendy outlets – Spoon, 2PM Kelawai Lounge and Gravity.
Spoon offers a la carte dishes and theme buffets. With outdoor terraces and air-conditioned dining area, this French bistro located on the 2nd floor of the hotel is also the venue for daily buffet breakfast.
The breakfast menu features a selection of Asian and Western favorites such as cooked-to-order waffles, eggs and nasi lemak (fragrant coconut milk rice).

Themed buffets created by Executive Sous Chef Ong and Sous Chef Ketut Gede Dodi can be savored at Spoon Cafe.
From the month of April to June 2015, the International Buffet is available from Sunday to Thursday while the Thai Buffet Dinner is available on Friday and the Japanese Buffet Dinner on Saturday. The buffets are priced at RM98++ per person.
In addition, a Sunday Brunch for only RM88++ per person is available from 12pm till 3pm. For free flow of house beer or wine, just add on RM35++.

The delicately decorated and relaxing setting of the 2PM Lounge on the hotel’s lobby level, set the right tone for a meet up. The spacious lounge done up with private rooms and alfresco area is named after the address (Persiaran Maktab) and its menu offers a selection of wines, freshly squeezed juice and brewed coffee.
2PM Lounge’s happy hour runs daily from 5pm till 9pm, with buy 1 free 1 on all house pours.
