Great Amerian Buffet at Hard Rock Hotel

Visitors to Starz Diner in Hard Rock Hotel Penang are in for a treat this April, with the launch of the sumptuous American buffet. Held on the weekends, the buffet dinner sees a range of dishes specially selected by the hotel’s Executive sous chef Beh Aik Aun and his team. The team will prepare a spread of approximately 70 hot and cold dishes, appetizers, seafood, salad and dessert hailing from various states of America.
Available is the seafood chowder prepared using squid, fish and celery. Appetizers of fresh greens with meat and seafood come with different dressing. The prawn salad with tomato and basil, and the char grilled lamb salad are particularly suiting.

There is a wide range of dishes which include lamb burger with caramelized onion, macaroni pasta in cheese sauce, seafood Jamabalaya, grilled Cajun prawns and the list goes on. All these are accompanied by an extensive selection of meat, with the all-time favorite smoked beef ribs, buffalo chicken wing with barbeque sauce and roast lamb leg.
The smoked beef rib is slow cooked for hours, and is succulent with tender meat falling off the bone. On top of that, don’t forget to sample the lamb burger with Heinz yellow mustard.

There is also a lineup of desserts, including chocolate mousse cup, pecan pie, lemon meringue tart, pumpkin pie, peanut butter cupcakes and the popular New York cheesecake. For nut lovers, their pecan pie would be an excellent choice.
The buffet dinner available at Starz Diner will run every Friday and Saturday, priced at RM108++ per adult and RM54++ per child (below 12 years old). According to General Manager, John Primmer, guests will be able to enjoy entertainment by the entertaining servers.
