Stinky Tofu at Tang Steamboat & BBQ Restaurant, Penang
There was also another dish called the Red Wine Noodle, which was essentially noodles cooked in Western red wine! The flavor of the wine was a bit strong for our liking.
We even had assorted appetizers of deep fried Wanton, Seafood Lobak, Belacan chicken ball, Teppanyaki Dumpling, and the bean stick. Everyone of us was munching on these crispy snacks in between the meal with three servings of the fried bean stick.
The crispy bean sticks tasted good eaten on its own and dip in hot soup
The restaurant also has a spacious outdoor dining area with plenty of tables and benches. It’s kind of relaxing sitting in the outdoor garden when the weather is not too hot. An electric grill is provided in the garden and customers can enjoy a walkabout to barbeque the food and enjoy eating them in the air con place. Very creative idea!

It is the homemade ingredients and the Chao Tofu which makes this steamboat very special. The spicy Ma Lat soup is really something that you should try besides the available clear soup and Tom Yam. I am sure to come back again to have the Chao Tofu and sample the spicy Tom Yam soup.
