Bee Won Korean Traditional Restaurant, Hotel Royal Penang
Miss Choi also brought out some beer and liquor with ginseng to share with us. I enjoyed the refreshing soju (alcoholic beverage) alongside with the food. Presently there is an on-going promotion for the soju, order two bottles and get one free at RM25 per bottle.

My son absolutely enjoyed the newly discovered Hite beer – RM12
Instead of the popular barley tea for dessert, we had the special chilled dessert punch with cinnamon, ginger and persimmon. It’s really aromatic and delicious and I am thinking of trying my hands on making this beverage.
Complimentary Su Jeong Gwa & watermelon
Bee Won earns its following of customers from its offerings of traditional and healthy food, ranging from common dishes to the extraordinary ones. This restaurant has numerous private rooms and also larger rooms for groups equipped with karaoke machine facilities. For the info, this restaurant does have ties with Harry’s B1 Korean restaurant in Autocity, Juru.
If you are looking for good Korean food with authenticity in Georgetown, it has to be Bee Won. Although this restaurant is inside the hotel, the prices are quite similar to most other Korean restaurants in town; hence there is no worry of exorbitant prices and moreover they only add on 10% service charge. This is a pork free restaurant. Parking is free for diners with ticket issued by the hotel and the neighboring Giant Supermarket.
Thank you very much to the gracious and charming Miss Choi for the invitation to this lovely dinner for me and my family.
