Old Favorite Chinese Snacks @ Leong Chee Kee Biscuit off Cintra Street

The Kay Nui Kou/Gai Dan Go (egg cakes) are baked in different shaped moulds and comes in two sizes. The larger flower shape cake comes with melon seeds sprinkled over the top. It smells good. I remember my grandmother loves this type of cake. They are available from 11am!

The cakes are left to bake in the oven. The larger flower shape ones need a longer baking time and hence specially cut paper is used to protect the sides of the cake from being over burnt.
