La Casa @ The Waterfront Desa Parkcity, Kuala Lumpur
Among the seafood dishes, we had Cajun Salmon with Salsa. The Norwegian salmon was pan fried and served with a tomato and mango salsa for that appetizing sweet and tangy flavor– RM34.
The hearty Braised Lamb Shank is stewed with rosemary till tender and accompanied with mashed potato and mesclun – RM36. The meat was juicy and soft which easily melts in the mouth. It taste great together with the chopped parsley and mesclun.
With so many types of pasta to choose from, our choose was the Alla Bolognaise with ragout of beef and parmesan cheese – RM17. The flavor of the sauce and the texture of the spaghetti was just right. The meatball was very flavorful but I personally would prefer if it has more texture, with a bit of chewing. The serving was great size portion indeed.
Twisting the spaghetti around the fork
This dish looks simple but the the flesh of the Duck Confit served with linguine proved to be a worthy oil-based pasta dish.
The Pizza La Casa was just delicious! This house specialty was topped with a good amount of crisp turkey bacon, button mushrooms, pineapple, vegetables, tomato, pesto sauce and mozzarella – RM32.90.
At the back of the restaurant is a comfortable alfresco dining area. The seating outdoors are overlooking the lake and the beautiful landscaped park.
Indeed relaxing taking a stroll at the park
